Huawei and Honor plan to launch many new "lite" smartphones in the next few months. However, amongst their listing, there is a singular one which catches the eye and steals the heart when it comes to specifications.

News of the P10 Lite emerging has been confirmed just about a week ago by PhoneArena. Although the Huawei flagship smartphone's downgraded version has yet to be announced, TENAA certified a specific Huawei phone.

The phone in question's model number is WAS-AL00 and the Chinese regulatory commission went ahead with its certification. Geekbench affirms that the action took place earlier this month. The specifications of the smartphone comprise of a stunning 2.1GHz octa-core Kirin CPU. It also comes with an impressive 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

The Geekbench database displayed a second Huawei handset that stands unannounced as of yet. The gadget's model number is WAS-LX1A. Despite both sets having different model numbers, they have quite some specifications in common.

The newly spotted device hosts the octa-core Kirin 655 processor. It is also coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device makes one of optimal choices in the mid-range category for smartphones by running on the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. It looks like 2017 has a lot in store.

More details regarding the device's specifications are not yet privy to the public or to the large fan base of tech geeks awaiting the release of the handset. It is thought that later this month, additional release details will surface.

With plenty of smartphone manufacturing companies making the best use of the New Year to kickstart their way back into the bustling business of best sales, our money is on the mid-range beauties who promise to host the best of features and come at an affordable price.
