GTA 5 Online Tornado Week Declasse Tornado Custom Vehicle Available April 5th; GTA 6 Development Leaked?

Acclaimed developer Rockstar Games has announced the release of a new Tornado week for its popular franchise GTA 5 Online that will bring in the addition of new vehicle, maps, bonuses and a lot more. 

As reported by International Business Times, Rockstar has confirmed the new Tornado week offering avid GTA gamers a couple of new Sumo maps, Lowrider bonuses and discounts on clothing, weapons, double RP among others.

First, the developer will be adding the Declasse Tornado Custom vehicle to Benny's Original Motor Works in GTA 5 Online tomorrow, as revealed in full details via a Newswire post. Gamers can avail of a number of upgrade options for Declasse Tornado Custom come April 5 at the Benny's, the custom repair shop featured in the popular title. The vehicle is said to include wide Livery options, roof design options, etc. 

Additionally, two new Sumo mode maps namely, Sumo V and Sumo VI are now made available until April 7. The developer sends players some cautions, though, stating to "look out for cracks when smashing, bashing and barging" on top of SS Bulker at the docks (Sumo V) and on roof of Sightings Bar and Restaurant at the airport (Sumo VI)".

Other than the maps and vehicle, Rockstar is also offering gamers Lowriders bonuses where they can earn double RP from all Sumo Adversary Modes, Contact Missions from GTA Online: Lowriders and choose Race Playlists. The Playlist schedule is given below:

  • Friday April 1 - Sunday April 3: Sumo Adversary Modes (including the new maps)
  • Monday April 4 - Tuesday April 5: Street Races
  • Wednesday April 6 - Thursday April 7: Street Races (different set of Jobs)

25 percent discounts on select modifications at Benny's Original Motor Works and all Los Santos Customs are also given to players. There is also a 30 percent off on purchase of the Machete, the Machine Pistol as well as any item of Lowriders clothing.

In more related news, Rockstar Games is now reportedly working on the development of the next entry to the game series, GTA 6, as reported by TechRadar who cited an unnamed source. Not much was revealed other than the claim that the development team has begun working on the preliminaries of the game. The location for the game was not mentioned either but according to GameSpot, it is quite likely to be a U.S setting
