The god of thunder is headed back to Asgard with Bruce Banner in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. Filming is just a couple of months away and actor Tom Hiddleston hinted that the film could be his last MCU outing as Loki. Moreover,  Cate Blachett who is rumored to play the role of Hela shared her reason for joining the franchise.

Filming for the upcoming flick is set to begin in Australia in June. According to Design N Trend, franchise star Chris Hemsworth revealed that the decision to film in Australia was partially due to his proposition. Hemsworth, who was originally from Australia,  revealed his excitement to film in the country, a decision that the studio made after he suggested to film there when the studio was scouting for locations.

Other than Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston who plays the iconic role as is villainous on screen brother, Loki shared his excitement to film Thor: Ragnarok. Thor 3 will be cool because I've not done it for four years," Hiddleston said as reported by the Independent. "I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate."

However, such statement from Hiddleston prompted questions about his return for Avengers: Infinity War. Hiddleston then responded by saying that his return has not been confirmed since Marvel is still to lay their plan for the film.

Meanwhile, as reported by Cinema Blend, Cate Blanchett  who is heavily speculated to join the franchise as Hela shared that playing the villainous character could be a huge turn for her career, but also revealed that she wants to impress her kids with the character.

"I've only done action a couple of times, so it feels like...a departure is too strong a word, but it certainly seems like a change for me. So, I am looking forward to getting really fit, and wearing lycra, and hoping to earn a bit of street cred from my kids. I can't wait.", Blanchett said.

Plot details for Thor: Ragnarok are still under wraps, but it is expected to see the adventure that Bruce Banner and Thor underwent during their absence from Captain America: Civil War. It will be directed by Taika Waititi, and is currently slated to hit theaters on November 03, 2017.
