'Modern Family' Season 7 returns April 6th: Manny and Luke babysit Lily in 'The Party'

"Modern Family" Season 7 is on a short break at this time and is set to return with its newest episode entitled, "The Party", this coming Wednesday April 6, 2016. Also, ABC has released the official plot description to tease fans on what to look forward to in the show. The recap of the previous episode 17 "Express Yourself" is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.

"Modern Family" Season 7 is currently on a short break and the episode which was slated to air last Wednesday, March 30, 2016 has been postponed for next Wednesday airing instead. According to International Business Times, the parents decided to take an enjoyable break from their repsonsibilities in line with the show's short break.

As for the official synopsis of episode 18, Spoilers Guide notes, "Manny and Luke are in charge of babysitting Lily so that the adults can enjoy a day to themselves. Claire and Gloria have a lovely trip to the spa planned; Phil and Mitch nerd out in the movies; Jay and Cam go to a sports bar to watch the big fight. Things started going awry though when the fire alarm goes off back at the house, Claire is convinced the boys are secretly throwing a party."

For a quick recap of "Modern Family" Season 7 previous episode 17 entitled "Express Yourself", Entertainment Weekly reported that Phil wanted to go on a trip to Paris with Claire however, they are both exhausted to do so. Jay's plan of renovating the bathroom caused hazardous results for the entire family; Cam's sister Pam came to visit and her emotional outbursts irritated Mitchell.

"Modern Family" Season 7 Episode 18 is entitled as "The Party". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on ABC.

"Modern Family" is an American mockumentary TV series created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan. The storyline evolves around the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family who resides in the suburbans of Los Angeles.
