'The Walking Dead' Season 6 finale episode airs April 3rd; Rick Grimes to die in 'Last Day on Earth'?

"Grey's Anatomy" alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan will debut in the finale episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 as the notorious villain named Negan. Also, AMC has released the official plot description of the finale episode (episode 16) 'Last Day on Earth', and the recap of last week's episode 15 'East' is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it. 

"Grey's Anatomy" alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan is officially slated to make a chilling debut in the final episode of "The Walking Dead" Season 6. According to International Business Times, the 49-year-old American actor will play as the notorious antagonist in the comic book series, Negan. Negan happens to be the group leader of 50 survivors in Washington D.C. called the Saviors.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 16, AMC notes, "Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group must go outside the walls to leave the safety to Alexandria in order to save one of their own. What they experience on the road will change their lives forever."

For a quick recap of "The Walking Dead" Season 6 previous episode 15 "East", The Wall Street Journal reported that pregnant Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan) began experiencing stabbing pains that caused her to collapse; Dwight's (Austin Amelio) team of Saviours caught Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), and Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) in the woods. The said episode ended with a gunshot and a blood splatter.

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale episode (episode 16) is entitled as "Last Day on Earth". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on AMC.

"The Walking Dead" is an American horror drama TV series developed by Frank Darabont. The storyline is based on the comic book series under the same name which was written by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard.
