Homefront The Revolution Out May 17th; 5 DLC Packs, Pre-Order Bonus Items Announced by Deep Silver

Game developer Dambuster Studios alongside Deep Silver have recently revealed concrete post launch plans for Homefront: The Revolution prior to its official release come May 17. 

Both also laid out the game's pre-order bonuses including the details of Homefront: The Revolution Goliath Edition that will be out beginning the first day of release. 

According to iDigital Times, Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios offer five promotional DLC packs for gamers who are interested to place a pre-order for the new title from various game retailers.Each one who avail of a copy of the game will be entitled to receive the Revolutionary Spirit pack for free. This pack shall contain a few collection of alternate costumes intended for Resistance Mode.  

All pre-orders will be getting the Liberty Pack, although, such bonuses will vary on what retailer to order the game from. For example, fans who will make the pre-purchase at GameStop will receive the Guerrilla Care Package and Combat Stimulant Pack. If it's via Amazon, then they'll be able to take home a free copy of the Wing Skull Pack.

However, Best Buy won't be offering any of the five Homefront: The Revolution DLC but a pre-order will come with a free Steelbook case for the game. 

Hardcore gamers who will be rooting for special collector's pack like the Goliath Edition will need shell out $159. It shall come with the main game, a steelbook case, 32-page art book, a download code for the Revolutionary Spirit DLC, the game's Season Pass and a remote controlled replica of the Goliath tank used by the KPA in Homefront. Sadly enough, Goliath Edition won't be made available in other regions outside North America.  

In addition, Deep Silver stated that more information on the content coverage for the Homefront: The Revolution Season Pass will be announced later. Although, fans can look forward to a release of free Resistance Mode content spread over the next 12 months succeeding the launching of the game. This free content will likely include new challenges, equipment and mission for Homefront: The Revolution's cooperative mode.

Homefront: The Revolution is set to hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 17.
