'Indiana Jones 5' Updates: Disney confirms movie happening; Harrison Ford glad to be back; Film’s script almost done?

Disney confirms that Indiana Jones will be returning to the big screen sooner that everybody thinks. Meanwhile, 73-year-old actor Harrison Ford expressed interest in returning to the planned 'Indiana Jones 5'. Rumors say that the production team already had a meeting last month, and the outline of the script is almost finished.

Harrison Ford surprised fans during the Star Wars: The Force Awakens when he jumped, ran, and shoot laser beams. Though the actor is already old, The Force Awakens proves that he is still active and healthy enough to shoot films. Some fans were skeptic about Ford's performance when The Force Awakens, wasn't released yet, but by the time the actor showed up and did some action, the crowd went wild. The immediate response of a regular fan says, "Harrison Ford can still play as Indiana Jones!"

Bloomberg reported that Robert Iger said that Indiana Jones 5 is already in production. Iger said that Indiana Jones will be coming. The Disney CEO Robert Iger made no comment yet regarding Harrison Ford's involvement in the film. With all the clamor and noise happening on the internet regarding Indiana Jones 5, it is no secret that fans wanted Harrison Ford and no other.

Disney made a wise decision when it purchased the American Film production back in 2012. The film company owns a lot of box office hits, including Indiana Jones.

Indiana Jones 5 producer Frank Marshall admitted that there are lots of rumors circulating on the web, but the team hasn't found its Indy yet, as reported by Youth Health Magazine. Marshall stated that there were a lot of people who are capable of playing the role, but personally wants Harrison Ford. One prospect would be Chris Pratt, who starred Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World.

Frank Marshall also said that they will not copy Bond films where the titular role changes almost every time. Speculations say that Harrison Ford will still play Indy but with a less action-packed scene. Ecumenical News also says that perhaps Indy will pass the torch to another kid or character.

Indiana Jones 5 is rumored to hit the big screen this 2018. For the meantime, fans need to continue producing more noise if they don't want Harrison Ford replaced.
