Rumors circulating on the web also says that Gambit will look and feel like one of those James Bond film - Casino Royale.
According to WGNO, Gambit movie is currently holding casting calls for extras. The website also reported that the filming will be taking place in New Orleans. Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow was a success and fans can bet that the Gambit movie will have not only impressive action sequences but also solid storyline.
Channing Tatum is now getting into the character of Gambit as reported by Collider. Most of the fans agree that Channing Tatum has the physique of Gambit as well as the charisma. Some also pointed that the haircut he sported at the Golden Globes is a sneak peek to what Channing's Gambit will look like.
Movie Web cited that Gambit is technically set for October 7, 2016 as release date, but since it was recently announced that the filming won't commence until March. It seems more likely that 20th Century Fox will move the date into 2017. Simon Kilberg said that the Gambit will have its different flavor and tone to it and will be more of like a heist film and a sexy thriller in a way. Some rumors say that this concept might be from Daniel Craig's Casino Royale. To make it more interesting, Bond Girl Léa Seydoux will play as Bella Donna Boudreaux, who is Gambit's love interest.
There have been no reports yet as to who will play the villain. The adaptation of Gambit started very rough, and the fans of the card-throwing Cajun mutant are rummaging the web for updates now and then. Nevertheless, with all these tease from the studio, fans expect not only a good Gambit film but also an X-Men worthy character.
