‘Star Wars Episode VIII’ Update: Mark Hamill dishes hints about rumors regarding Rey’s linage; 8th installment might film in Croatia

After releasing an insanely massive successful film, the studio's planned next installment, Star Wars: Episode 8, is really being anticipated by many. With this, Mark Hamill clarifies one of the most popular rumours about Rey. Meanwhile, reports indicate that the principal productionis taking place in Croatia.

Since the success of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, many were amazed on the character of Daisy Ridley, Rey and in return, speculations include that she's a daughter of lead character, Luke Skywalker. To give details, Mark Hamill, playing Luke Skywalker, gave his comments to this as reported by Movie Pilot. In the report, the actor indicated that the popular fan theory might not be true. This might be a hint that other things should be considered before concluding that Rey is from the lineage of Skywalker. It should be noted that Hamill is known for giving subtle hints regarding Star Wars films.

Nonetheless, in a report by Youth Health Mag, it stated that Rey should be considered to be Han Solo and Leia's daughter. The article extended to write that this might be the reason on why Harrison Ford's character immediately warmed up to Rey when he saw her. Moreover, fan theories include that this could be one of the reasons on why she's a crew of Millennium Falcon as to one of Solo's way to reconcile with her.

Lastly, the Episode 8 has been reported to include the beautiful places in Croatia. According to Attack Of The Fanboy, Star Wars Episode 8 will film in Dubrovnik, Croatia. One of the reasons that it will shoot in this country is due the glamorous scenes that could be used. However, additional reports indicate that filming there is due to an excellent tax breaks. It should be noted that Croatia was used in Game Of Thrones before and it offers a classic look which will be great for Jedi trainings.

The Star Wars Episode 8 is the upcoming 8th installment film in the Star Wars franchise. The epic space opera film is a sequel to the successful J.J. Abram's Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Recent updates on the film includes clarification from Mark Hamill regarding rumours about Rey's descendants. Lastly, film's production will take place in Croatia, though the studio hasn't confirmed it yet. Star Wars: Episode 8 is slated for a December 2017 release after a delay from the original May 2017.
