A 23-year-old man was arrested overnight at Summit County after he stole a bus in Keystone with passengers on it.

Sheriff's officials got a report that an unknown man stepped into the Summit Stage bus while the driver was out for brief period, and drove "erratically" on Montezuma Road reported CBS Denver.

Upon arrival, the authorities noticed the bus was stuck and a man walked down the road half-mile away. They arrested the man, Joshua Taylor Mock, on the identifications given by the passengers.

Mock has been charged with kidnapping, motor vehicle theft, and reckless endangerment and hindering public transportation, reported The Denver Post.

According to the reports, prior to this incident Mock was arrested by Alma police in Park County for trespassing in a one of the town's military Humvee. But he couldn't start the vehicle as the steering wheel was locked, informed Greg Flint, Alma Police chief. Mock was later on $1,000 bond.

However, in the bus incident he violated the bond conditions put forth towards him. Flint described Mock as a troubled person who was involved in various disturbances around town in past weeks.

Mock appeared in court on Friday morning and is being held in the Summit County Jail, reported CBS Denver.
