‘Bourne 5’ Update: Storyline of the upcoming film uncovered; Big action scenes in various locations revealed

The untitled Bourne 5, fifth instalment of the spy action series that started in 2002, has shed light about the plot details and where the storyline would focus. Moreover, actor Matt Damon released information regarding the action film in which the audience will be filled with excitement to see.

It has been 8 years since Matt Damon played the character Jason Bourne, the CIA assassin that had an extreme memory loss and tries to figure out who he is, but everyone is still excited to see another action thrilling fight scene from the assassin. According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor revealed the storyline of the forthcoming film. Matt Damon further stated that they will pick up the after events of 2004, where Jason Bourne went off the grid, saying "What's happened in those intervening years gives you a story." Lastly, to avoid confusion, Damon cleared it that Bourne Ultimatum's events are still in the year of Bourne Supremacy which was 2004 and that the upcoming film will be about the 12 year absence of Jason Bourne.

In line with the interview given by Matt Damon, he also added some teasing action scenes in the anticipated movie. As reported by GamesRadar, the Oscar winning actor revealed that there are key scenes in the film such as "a nighttime riot scene" in Athens and a "big car chase" within Las Vegas strip. In addition, the actor also gave the locations for their scenes in the sequel, citing places within England, Berlin and D.C.

Lastly, according to Comingsoon, the film is already in its halfway through finish. After the principal photography started in September, the crew went dark for most of December and will return to cut the first two acts. After of which, the crew will have a go for the third act and will try to patch up the missing pieces in the first two acts.

The Bourne 5 is the sequel to the 2012's Bourne Legacy and the fifth film in the hit-film Bourne series. Plot details of the upcoming film's storyline were provided by the actor who plays the main character, Matt Damon. Moreover, the actor expressed his thoughts about the development of the film, further stating the action scenes that the audience must not surely miss. Bourne 5 is slated to hit worldwide cinemas on July 29, 2016.
