The three women whose bodies were found wrapped in trash bags in East Cleveland have been identified, NBC News reported. The three identities are 18-year-old Shirellda Hellen Terry, 28-year-old Shetisha Sheely and 38-year-old Angela Deskins. Suspect Michael Madison is in custody and facing preliminary charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping in the multiple murders.
A foul odor emanating from a home in East Cleveland prompted authorities to investigate it. There authorities discovered three bodies and arrested a registered sex offender who sent police and volunteers through a poor Ohio neighborhood in search of more victims on Sunday, the Associated Press reported. The three female victims' were found wrapped in plastic. The suspect has been identified as Michael Madison who is expected to be formally charged on Monday. Madison may have been influenced by Cleveland serial killer Anthony Sowell, according to East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton. Sowell who was convicted in 2001 for murdering 11 women and was sentenced to death.
