On Tuesday, a group of Argentine bondholders urged a U.S. judge to wait longer before lifting injunctions that restrict the country from paying off some debts.

A US judge ordered british bank Barclays to be filed with a class-action lawsuit. This case was based on a complaint regarding the bank's manipulation on the prices of electricity.

The US government has obliged the Japanese company Olympus to pay $646 million. This is in relation to the cases filed against the company which was guilty of committing corrupt practices.
