As the Drew Peterson murder trial continues in its second week, prosecutors presented their witnesses, all who have painted Peterson, the 58-year-old former police officer charged with murder of his wife, as a violent erratic person.
Last year, stuntman and actor Ryan Dunn killed himself and passenger Zachary Hartwell in DUI related car crash. On Friday, parents of stuntman Hartwell have filed suit against Dunn's estate claiming monetary compensation including funeral costs. Emma and George Hartwell are suing the estate on which the fatal accident which claimed the life of their 29-year-old son was lost.
On Friday, hundreds of mourners gathered at the Oak Tree High School Gymnasium in Wisconsin to honor and pay respects to victims of Sikh Temple shooting that took place last Sunday, in which alleged killer Wade Michael Page opened fire in the place of worship killing six people and critically injuring three others.
The defense of James Egan Holmes, who is being charged with 12 counts of murder and 116 of attempted murder for the July 20 Aurora movie shootout, argues that her client, 24-year old Holmes reached out for help before his shootings, hinting to an insanity plea in a Thursday court appearance.
