"Family Hustle" star Zonnique Pullins has appeared to have followed her mother's, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, footsteps in changing her eye color.
According to Mstars, the 18-year-old celebrity flaunted a seemingly new set of blue eyes in a photo that she posted in her Instagram account last November 16.
She captioned the picture, "Surround yourself with friends that will constantly help you slay..... Shot by baby girl :@exquisite_eye."
The post left many fans wondering whether the singer's new pair of blue eyes is a permanent set or just contact lenses. Pullins has also not given confirmation on the matter. She has not even updated her social media account since the post.
With the clue of the eye color change, many followers of the young singer believe that she is following the path her mother had taken.
According to Enstars, Harris had undergone a Brightocular surgery, which permanently changed her eye color from brown to ice gray. She had the procedure done in South Africa as the eye surgery is still illegal in the United States. She received waves of negative comments for her decision, but the backlash apparently did not affect her.
In an Instagram post, Harris expressed her enthusiasm over the results of the surgery. "I permanently changed my eye color with Brightocular and lovin it!! Thank you Dr. Montasser Menif for the amazing experience and for making my dream come true! I hated wearing contacts just for the color and it made my vision blurry! Blessed to say my vision is #perfect after my #ice-gray implants!" read her photo caption as per a report from Mstars.
Meanwhile, the reality TV star also explained about the procedure in an interview with Good Morning America last month as per a report by Mail Online.
"They go into the eye and they make a little slit. They take an implant and it's folded up. They open it [and] spread it over your eye. They told me that the procedure was going to be quick, five to 10 minutes an eye. They woke me up. It was very blurry, then it kind of fades in," said Harris.
