Brothers Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander were found guilty on all counts in their federal sex trafficking trial in Manhattan on Monday, capping a five-week case in which 11 women testified that the wealthy siblings drugged and sexually assaulted them over more than a decade.

The jury of six men and six women deliberated for roughly two and a half days before returning a unanimous verdict, convicting the brothers on all 10 charges, including sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Sentencing is scheduled for August 6, and the brothers face the possibility of life in prison.

Tal Alexander, 39, and 38-year-old twins Oren and Alon were arrested in Miami in December 2024 on federal charges. They had each pleaded not guilty and had been held without bail since their arrests, according to ABC News.

During the trial, prosecutors presented testimony from women who said the brothers used their wealth and status to lure victims to luxury homes, parties, and vacations in locations including the Hamptons, New York City, and on a cruise ship. The women described being drugged and assaulted, sometimes by more than one brother at a time.

Among the most disturbing evidence was a video prosecutors said showed Oren Alexander assaulting a drugged 17-year-old girl in 2009. Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Jones described the footage in his closing arguments, telling jurors Oren had set up a laptop camera before climbing into bed with the incapacitated victim.

Two of the 10 counts involved crimes against minors. Prosecutors said they had interviewed more than 60 women during their investigation, Justice reported.

Defense attorneys characterized the brothers as "playboys" and "womanizers" but not criminals, arguing that all sexual encounters were consensual. They claimed the accusers were motivated by regret, media influence, and financial incentives from civil lawsuits.

None of the brothers testified during the trial. The defense also faced scrutiny after prosecutors alleged a private investigator hired by the brothers had intimidated a witness, prompting two charges to be dropped before the verdict.

Prior to their arrests, Oren and Tal Alexander were prominent luxury real estate agents known for brokering high-end properties in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. Alon held an executive position at the family's private security firm, as per the BBC.

The brothers also face state charges in Florida and dozens of civil lawsuits that remain on hold while the criminal proceedings continue.
