A white man was hospitalized with serious injuries after allegedly spouting a stream of racial slurs at a Mississippi nightclub, according to Holly Springs Police.

Late Saturday night at CJ Lounge in Marshall County, police say a man from Tippah County entered the venue and began repeatedly using the "N-word" to address patrons. Witnesses said he became confrontational and refused to leave when calmly asked to do so.

The situation escalated dramatically as revealed by cell phone footage. The video, obtained by FOX13, shows the man stripped naked and being doused in beer following a brutal beating. Assailants used poles and sticks, in addition to stomping and kicking him all over his body.

"He was very aggressive," said witness Miles Stone, recalling that the man was quietly asked to leave. "When they were scuffling outside, he was still using the N-word: 'F you N's, f you N's.'"

In a separate video, the man was seen outside the bar, shouting and flashing what appear to be gang signs in a mocking manner.

He was later taken to the hospital with injuries including a possibly broken jaw.

Police say they are reviewing the case as a possible hate crime. One person of interest has been identified, but investigators believe multiple individuals may be responsible for the attack.

In the three months CJ Lounge has been open, the Holly Springs Police Chief says they've received roughly 30 calls to the venue involving violence and firearms. The club has since shut down due to a lack of proper licenses.
