A Texas man is facing felony charges after allegedly ramming his ATV into multiple Teslas and carving "Elon" into two of them during a destructive spree in Texarkana.

The incident began in the parking lot of the Golden Palace restaurant, where Tesla owner Virita Carstaffin was dining when her vehicle's security system alerted her to damage, KTBS reported.

Surveillance footage showed 33-year-old Demarqeyun Cox deliberately crashing his four-wheeler into her car at full speed. As police investigated, they discovered Cox had allegedly damaged two more Teslas at different locations, including a Lowe's and Genesis Prime Care, where he used a sharp object to etch "Elon" into the side of the vehicles.

Authorities later spotted Cox riding the same ATV near Summerhill and New Boston roads. When approached by officers, he provided a fake name but was quickly identified as the suspect.

Based on video evidence and witness reports, police arrested Cox and charged him with felony criminal mischief and failure to identify. The estimated damage to the vehicles ranges between $2,500 and $30,000.

Cox is currently being held at the Bi-State Justice Center on a $105,000 bond.
