A Louisiana high school teacher has been arrested after paying students to send him sexually explicit photographs, including photos of their feet.

Jarvis Harry, a high school teacher from Mandeville, has been charged with one count of indecent behavior with juveniles, 142 counts of pornography involving juveniles, 60 counts of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and 102 counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student after allegedly receiving numerous sexually explicit photos and videos from underage high school students, reported WWL-TV.

"The investigation, which included going through hundreds of documents from social media accounts, obtaining phone records, and conducting numerous interviews, revealed that not only was Harry paying students for feet pictures, but he had also obtained other sexually explicit videos and pictures of students," said a statement from St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office.

STPSO opened an investigation into Harry in October 2024 after it was reported that he was allegedly compensating students for explicit photos. Following the beginning of the investigation, Harry was placed on leave.

Harry was booked into St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on Monday.
