The family of a missing Florida woman are hoping that NASA can help crack the 19-year-old cold case.

Jennifer Kesse was 24 years old when she disappeared from her apartment complex in Orlando in January 2006. Ten years after her disappearance Kesse was declared dead.

Orlando police had little to go on, but they did find her car a few miles away in an apartment complex parking lot. Security footage picked up a man dumping the car there, News Nation reported, but the footage was grainy.

Now, the family has turned to NASA, who agreed to enhance and sharpen the image in an effort to identify the mystery man seen walking away from the vehicle. NASA produced a clearer image, creating a partial profile of the suspect. The suspect appears to be wearing work clothes, like a painter or contractor, News Nation reported.

In 2016, Fox News reported that evidence photos of the car appeared to show that there had been a violent struggle.

"It looked like someone was thrown down on the top of the hood – arms spread out and then dragged back almost like off the hood to the point where you can almost see fingers scribbling down the hood," said Kesse's father, Drew told Fox News.
