A racist Michigan dad who allegedly threatened to kill his daughter's teachers and burn down the elementary school because after-school activities were dismissed early avoided jail time.

Thomas Latting, 38, was sentenced to eight years of probation on Tuesday, as reported by MLive.

On Feb. 12, Latting became outraged when McMonagle Elementary School in Flint, Michigan, dismissed students earlier than he expected. He allegedly yelled racial slurs before threatening staff members.

"I'm going to come back and kill all of you, and burn this b**** to the ground," Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton previously recounted at a news conference, according to MLive.

Latting pleaded no contest to a false report or threat of terrorism, false report or threat of bomb/harmful device, ethnic intimidation and intentional threat to commit an act of violence against a school.
