A Nashville business owner was fatally caught in the crossfire of a gun battle between two cars on Sunday, with police now hunting for one of the twin brothers suspected in the deadly shooting.

Marcos Leyva-Hernandez, 17, has been charged with criminal homicide in connection with the death of 39-year-old Hwarang Joo, the owner of Hot Stuff Chicken in the Mill Creek Village shopping center on Bell Road, according to Newschannel 5.

Joo was shot during a shootout between two vehicles as he left his restaurant. His Volkswagen accelerated out of control and crashed into a nearby dental office.

The Leyva-Hernandez brothers allegedly fired an AR-style rifle at people inside a nearby Dodge Charger, according to Metro police.

After the shooting, the brothers fled in a Ford Taurus, while the three individuals in the Charger, who were unharmed, also drove away.

Metro police are continuing their search for Emilio Leyva-Hernandez, the twin brother, in connection with the shooting. Authorities are urging anyone who has seen Emilio or the Ford Taurus, identified by a rust spot and front-end damage, to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
