Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a severely decomposed body at an abandoned Ohio car wash.
Officers responded to a call of a possible dead body at the dilapidated business Wednesday night, according to WBNS-TV.
Authorities confirmed the remains found in one of the car wash bays belonged to an unidentified man.
It's unclear how long the remains had been there, but the business had been abandoned for several years, WCMH-TV reported.
Homicide detectives are leading the investigation, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
An autopsy is pending to determine cause of death and victim identification.
