In a surprising disclosure, high-ranking White House Deputy National Security Adviser Jon Finer declined to affirm in an interview with 'Meet the Press' whether Israel is obeying international law. This follows the Israeli raid into Gaza's primary hospital, Al-Shifa.

In a subsequent raid by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on Al-Shifa Hospital last week, hundreds of staff and patients, including many premature infants, were forced to leave the facility. The World Health Organization (WHO) has labeled the hospital as a "death zone" due to insufficient fuel to operate its incubators. IDF defends its actions by asserting that Hamas had established a command center beneath the hospital.
