One of Vegetarianism's Biggest Rivals: The Microscope

Vegetarianism is the practice of not eating meat or fish for various reasons. The microscope challenges this type of lifestyle, which may change the lives of many.

Vegetarianism is a lifestyle that not many can embrace in their lives. It requires the person to sacrifice a part of their diet that is ultimately natural for their consumption: meat. While vegetarianism may be something that some people will live by more than others, it faces a different type of opponent when challeneged by the microscope.

Before we explain how the microscope challeneged vegetarianism, we must first have a better understanding of what vegetarianism is. Most people already know that this type of lifestyle is a practice where their diet no longer includes fish or meat for a variety of reasons, most of which are either for moral, religious, or health reasons. According to Faultless Fitness, there are many factors that determine the healthiness and how it is to be taken, including the age, gender and general fitness.

It also states that there are certain elements that makes vegetarianism different for all types of people, and even stating that there are different types of vegetarians and the key nutrients that might be deficient should one follow this way of life as well as how to cope with it. But when challenged by the microscope, vegetarianism surfaces facts that many are not aware of. 

The Atlantic claims that one of the main issues controversies floating around this type of lifestyle is the morality of whether eating meat is wrong or not. More importantly, the sources goes on to say that the microscope challenges vegetarianism by stating that even the strictes person with the highest morality for all living things that practices this lifestyle still kills unknown amounts of microbial and insect life every time they eat. Furthermore, it states that the assumption that having a plant-based diet will reduce ailments and save the planet we live on is not as cut-and-drie as many had hoped. 

Challenged by one of the greatest tools every used in science, the microscope challenges vegetarianism even more so by proving that this style clearly has its own flaws. There are some things that simply aren't as it seems, and living the life of vegetarianism is proof of that when challenged by the microscope.
