Despite playing second fiddle to her more famous cousin," Supergirl" is holding her own as evidenced by her own hit series which is currently in its second season. Supergirl will air its 13th episode on Feb 20 but spoilers for "Supergirl" Season 2 episode 17 are already on the internet.
According to a report from YVRShoots, Chyler Leigh and Floriana Lima were spotted filming "Supergir"l Season 2 in Vancouver on Feb 9. Leigh and Lima are playing characters Alex Danvers and Maggie Sawyer who are both in a relationship and may be on a date based on the images of their shoot.
In Twitter, user @ThemysciraBound posted pictures of Floriana Lima and Chyler Leigh during the shoot for "Supergirl" Season 2 episode 17. The actresses are seen carrying yoga mats which could possible mean that the two characters are going on a yoga date for the episode.
Plot details for "Supergirl" Season 2 episode 17 are still under wraps but it is expected that Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sobo's villainous characters will debut on the episode. While the roles have yet to be revealed, Kevin Sorbo did spill a few details regarding next role.
According to an interview Sorbo had with Entertainment Tonight, he and Hatcher are playing a husband and wife. He also mentioned that he will be coming from another planet that is an arch-rival of Krypton, Supergirl's home planet. It this were true we can expect Kevin Sorbo's character to have superpowers that can compete with Supergirl in "Supergirl" Season 2 episode 17.
Yahoo News reports that Corbo and Hatcher's characters may come from the planet Daxam. And since Mon-El's backstory hasn't been tackled yet, it wouldn't be surprising for Corbo and Hatcher's character turn out to be the parents of Mon-El in "Supergirl" Seaon 2 episode 17.
Futhermore, there are also rumors of Mon-El being the prince of Daxam which will make Hatcher and Sorbo's characters to be the King and Queen of the planet if all the rumors are taken to account. This all fits into "Supergirl" Season 2 episode 17 as the show is considered to be a family drama disguised as a superhero show.
