Google Maps Update: New Feature Added, Enables Sharing Location Lists

Google Maps has an updated feature that lets users create shareable lists. This new feature can let one user share details of location to another and makes it easier for tracking.

According to Tech Times, the Google Maps shareable list of location can be saved in the app. The user can also go back to the saved location later on. The shareable lists can also be shared to another user via text messaging, email, messaging app and through the social network.

The sharable lists of locations that are saved in the Google Maps can be useful in the future. There are instances that a user travels so locations can be stored beforehand and it will be easier to navigate through a certain foreign land.

CNet reported that there were several reasons why the new shareable list of Google Maps is of an advantage. This feature can help the user plan a future trip. It also helps the user be organized in the places saved since the feature enables the users to create the list.

Aside from the list to be useful in the future, a user can also make a list specifically for certain places. This will be easier to navigate instead of the list from Google Maps that originally places the location in one are.

Meanwhile, according to Computer World, the list in Google Maps can be shared using mobile devices or desktop computers. The maps that are saved can be downloaded so users can use these while offline. This new feature of the Google Maps is another step for Google in social media.

The new feature for Google Maps is a way to share these details to other users of the app. This will soon be a good social network for Google. Aside from the locations, there will also be more products from Google to look into.
