Antonio Brown admitted that his action in the Playoffs has created unnecessary trouble for the team. Nevertheless, he wanted to play for Pittsburgh Steelers until the end of his career and the team management seem to reciprocate his wish.

In an interview with the Bleacher Report, Brown said that he needed to learn more and admitted to have some growing up to do. He also stated that he wished to stay in Pittsburgh and playing for the Steelers until the end of his career.

"It was a dumb mistake," the 28-year-old wide receiver said. “It won't happen again. I promise you that."

His intention seems to reciprocate with the team management. According to CBS Sports, Pittsburgh are not interested to trade him.

The controversy began after Steelers defeated Kansas City Chefs by 18-16 in the AFC Divisional Round. Following the victory, Brown live-streamed the situation in the locker room to Facebook Live

In the live-streaming video, the Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin delivered a speech to motivate the players ahead of the AFC Championship game against New England Patriots. The speech supposed to stay in the locker room among the Steelers’ players, but because of the live-streaming, coach Tomlin’s remarks about the Pats was viewed publicly.

Comments from coach Tomlin about the Patriot aggravated many people, notably the Patriot fans. Subsequently, Brown apologized to coach Tomlin for his misbehavior. When both team met on Jan. 22 at the Gillette Stadium, in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the Pats crushed Pitsburgh Steelers 36-17.

Brown was drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2010 NFL Draft as 195th pick in the sixth round. He signed three-years contract with the Steelers and has proven himself as the best wide receiver in the league.

After his contract expired in 2012, Steelers re-signed him for another five years which will end this season. Brown has stated to stay in Pittsburgh, and it seems the Steelers will also want to keep the fourth best NFL players in 2016 and extending his contract.
