Nokia and Orange will collaborate to develop future 5G networks, which are believed to go far beyond mobile phones. The experience is believed to be incredible as consumers and industries are allowed to take advantage of the extraordinary upcoming 5G network.

They have promised to deliver spectacular improvements focusing on data speeds, network latency and agility. It will also bring the ability to enable network slicing which is a new capability, reported Nokia.

As for the operators they will be able to support a rising number of customers with constant quality of service. This will certainly benefit by laying the foundation for smarter cities, smart factories and offices, connected vehicles and many other connected industries.

According to GSM Arena, the approach is believed to greatly increase the number of users on the mobile network. As for Nokia they expect billions of connections, because of benefits like high bandwidth applications such as VR gaming and 8K video.

The Nokia and Orange collaboration are already planning a massive "MIMO" with new frequency bands to build on the existing 4.5G and soon it is expected to be deployed to 4.9G networks. 4.9G has already promised a high speed at gigabit per second peak.

Nokia has revealed that there are 90 customers that deployed 4.5G and they also mentioned that 4.5G pro is arriving with ten times the speed of initial 4G networks together with a clear upgrade path to 4.9G. The Nokia collaboration with Orange on 5G network is definitely going to be bigger, better and faster.

The highlight about the new service is that it will be efficient in terms of power, operations, high level of quality and reliability and also cost effective at the same time. On the other hand Samsung is also collaborating with T mobile and they have their own plans for 5G.
