Russell Westbrook Finds it Tough to Keep up with Cleveland Cavaliers

By

Despite Russell Westbrook's hard attempt, it turns out that he can't keep up with the Cleveland Cavaliers on his own. The NBA super star was certainly disappointed when he walked back alone to the last seat on the row of the Thunders bench.

Russell led his team to the middle of the Western Conference with an outrageous run of triple-doubles, but the Cavs seemed to be stronger as they weighed down on the Thunders and Russell with 107-91 on the score board as per ESPN.

As for the Oklahoma City Thunders coach Billy Donavan, he stated that there were some shots that the team did not make as they missed a lot of stuff around the basket. The further said that they had many possessions but they lost control and the ball was taken out of their hands. He appreciated the team for their tough game against the Cavs but he felt that mistakes could have been corrected.

The entire game does not depend only on Russell, it is also important for his supporting to provide a boost. Although his game was not good enough with the Cavs he made sure to put up 20 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 36 minutes. According to Russell his only focus is on winning and no triple- double will serve as a consolation.

According to NBA, this is Russell's 24th triple-double of the season. It is also believed that Russell generated more than half of the team's offensive output. Donovan said in his opinion everything can't fall on Russell since it will not be fair to him.

There is also a reason that his usage rate is on track to be the highest in NBA history, Russell is an emotional player and that burden certainly can't wear on him. As a matter of fact the Thunders super star had given his best for the game.
