Newly Drafted Ezekiel Elliott Pleads Not Guilty to Car Crash Incident

Not so long after being drafted by the Cowboys, Ezekiel Elliott, came across a heavy off-the-field concern to be addressed in Ohio. Elliott allegedly sent his lawyer to plead not guilty in his court case, rooting out an incident that transpired last year.

It was reported by NJ that in the past that football superstar Ezekiel Elliott experienced an accident late last year, in which he claims to have hydroplaned and lost control of his car. At around 1:30 PM of December 27th, he slammed across another vehicle, in which two people were said to have been riding.

As per Patch, one of the civilian passengers were injured but on a minor count. The problem did not originally start off there, as once the authorities arrived to the scene of the accident, the police claimed that they made a discovery of Elliott driving around with a suspended license.

According to TMZ, Elliot was then cited for driving under suspension, as well as driving without a license and lastly, failure to control his vehicle. To further elaborate on the matter, Elliott was then arraigned on the morning of Friday, though, for an undisclosed unspecified reason, he did not show up in court. He then appointed his lawyer to proceed to the court and represent on his behalf, then plead not guilty for all of the charges bestowed on him.

Ezekiel Elliott or Zeke as many may know him, is a twenty-year-old American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys. He was drafted recently by the Cowboys fourth, overall in the 2016 NFL draft. The highly decorated athlete is yet to know the next court date that is to be bestowed upon him, thus resulting in no concrete decision yet that will lean towards his supposed sentencing or judgment for the pending case.
