Bally's Hotel Shooting: Cover Charge Argument Leads To 1 Man Killed And 2 Injured As Gunman Opens Fire At Vegas Nightclub (Video)

A patron was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting outside a nightclub inside Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, police said. The suspect reportedly got into an argument with club security at Drai's Nightclub, demanding his cover charge be returned, but security refused him.

It was then the suspect, who has yet to be identified, pulled out a gun. Las Vegas police said at least three people were shot, and one patron was killed. The manager and security guard were also wounded. Another security guard was possibly shot and injured, police said. He was taken into custody after tackled by extra security guards and patrons and booked in absentia into Clark County Detention Center, according to Las Vegas police Lt. Jay Roberts, as reported by Fox 5 Vegas.

Nightclub guests were soon evacuated following the shooting. The shooting happened about 5:45 a.m. in the lower level of Bally's, The Associated Press reported.

"Drai's After Hours and Bally's Las Vegas extend deepest sympathies to those injured by the shooter," Bally's said read in a statement. Bally's also said that the night club and casino were supporting the police investigation, news reports said.

In February, an altercation at a another venue on the Las Vegas Strip led to a shooting and car crash leaving thee people died and six others injured.
