Maxis' The Sims 4 continues to linger around the masses since its release. Now that the game has been very consistent with its downloadable content updates, fans also grow hungrier each time and with it, speculations of new content come forth. More importantly, the craving for the game to be made available to the next generation consoles has become rather rampant.
According to Day Herald, it was an apparent request over the course of many months that The Sims 4 will head to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This was all but a reality in many cases, until Maxis themselves confirmed that the game will indeed head to the said hardware.
As per Neuro Gadget, Maxis' The Sims 4 is to be expected for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and aims to be done by the end of the year. Though no release date was ever given by Maxis and Electronic Arts, the said announcement has shined some light to the fans who highly believe in the developer's prerogative of doing such. A few factors that are said to stand in the way of the development would be some technical anomalies, which some believe to be common in a sense, especially coming from a game that is originally made for the PC and Mac.
In other news, as per iDigital Times, fans have started to speculate on the possible themes that the game will have next. After the launch of the Spring Challenge a few days ago, and the Romantic Stuff Pack in adherence to Valentine's Day, fans now believe that the next one in line is a Pet-themed pack. In which the Simmers will raise, train and even possibly play as their pets.
The Sims 4 was launched last September 2014. So far, no confirmed word of a next downloadable content update has come from Maxis and Electronic Arts and the near future could hold a lot more than what the fans may speculate on.
