Persona 5's supposed release period has made fans quite excited on the fifth installment, making waves all over the internet so far. However, Atlus may have something else in mind as the speculations were put to a halt for the time being until the developer themselves declares so.

According to N4BB, fans of the entire Persona franchise have been clamoring over the release date of the fifth installment, aptly named Persona 5. It was an apparent rumor that the game is expected as early as the second quarter, but Atlus has not supported the claim fully.

As per Trusted Reviews, Persona 5 has been in the making for over five years, and as it was originally presumed to already be out to the public by May, but the developer has not completely answered regarding such. Furthermore, a July claim is said to be the one that can be believed, given that Persona 5 is still being further enhanced by Atlus.

It was noted by Ecumenical News that the news around the game's entirety have made fans curious on what the real deal is, especially with the aforementioned release date. The declaration still stays the same as far as Atlus is concerned, that Persona 5 will be launched by this year. One more attractive piece of news is the chase after Final Fantasy XV, the rival Japanese role-playing game from Square Enix.

Persona 5 revolves around the story of three high school students and a feline companion that aim to change a society surrounded by a harsh governance. Each one has their own distinction, apart from the Persona that each one has.

Ryuji Sakamoto, Ann Takamaki, Yusuke Kitagawa and Morgana are the protagonists of Persona 5. A feature bestowed upon the game permits the players to communicate with each other within missions.

Keep posted for more updates on Persona 5.
