Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake is the title that the developer may be looking at in terms of success and possible salvation of the entire franchise. Many believe that the Final Fantasy VII Remake is to launch this year, but the developer may have something else planned out.

According to Ecumenical News, Final Fantasy VII's remake is expected to appear in this year's Game Developer's Conference 2016. Apart from the positive anticipation of the game, there is also the announcement of Final Fantasy VII Remake running on the Unreal Engine 4. It will not be alone, though, as there are also other games that are expected on running via the said gaming engine, such as the relative titles Final Fantasy XV and the awaited Kingdom Hearts 3.

As per Yibada, Yoshinori Kitase, Game Director, was quoted on his plans, "With Final Fantasy VII Remake, we have the opportunity to go beyond the story, world and experience of Final Fantasy VII in ways we've always dreamed of - from the depths of Midgar to the skies above the Planet. The multi-part format enables us to expand the original story and turn it into an epic experience for fans and new gamers alike."

Parent Herald delivered that Square Enix may need the year to further develop the said Square Enix game. It was elaborated further that Final Fantasy VII Remake aims to make the gaming experience quite synonymous to the two-decade classic game but with some traits that will match today's standards. In a nutshell, it may take longer than the year before the game surfaces.

Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII Remake is now presumed to arrive by 2017. Though no release date is to be held on to, the developers gave their word that the game will indeed surface to give the fans what they asked for so many years. Stay tuned for further updates.
