Kotaku delivered lately that Star Citizen reached a soaring $110 million worth of crowd-funding, and Cloud imperium Games takes pride in the said success. The most interesting bit that has struck the mass recently was the footage of a well-known showbiz personality that gave his talents for the title.

According to PC GamesN, Andy Serkis was confirmed of once again lending his motion-capture prowess to Star Citizen, taking on the role of a space creature known as Thul'Oqquray. It was via social media dissemination that the participation of Andy Serkis became recognized, but as many who tailed the actor's prestige career may know, this is not the first time that the actor is to give his skills to a video game.

Noted by Game Spot, Andy Serkis can also be remembered on playing Monkey in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and King Bohan in Heavenly Sword. More importantly, Andy Serkis is most known for his Hollywood affiliations for those who do not know entirely of his accolades, that being The Lord of the Rings' Gollum, Caesar from Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes; with his Supreme Leader Snoke role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Andy Serkis being a part of Star Citizen is not the only notable Hollywood inclusion to the game. Actors such as the decorated Gary Oldman, one of The Joker's actors Mark Hamill and The X-Files' Gillian Anderson. Mark Strong, John Rhys-Davies and Ben Mendelsohn also have their contributions to the masterpiece. Stay posted for more news on Star Citizen by Cloud Imperium Games.
