DOOM Reboot Confirmed to Release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC Platforms by May 2016

By

As Bethesda and ID Software's DOOM reboot has been properly marketed for the past number of months since it was announced, fans are now to receive a fixed release date to end the hurt of waiting longer. The web has also been generous with giving fans some artwork that showcases some of the demonic entities as well as the weapons to extinguish them with.

According to Bleeding Cool, the web was startled by the many leaked images that spoiled fans of what would be in store for the upcoming DOOM game reboot. From the expected monsters and weapons all the way to the maps and gameplay screenshots, almost all that needs to be known for about the title has been disclosed except for one; the release date. All of it has been changed, however, as a launch period is now out in the open.

Noted by Gadgets, Bethesda and ID Software's latest up and coming DOOM reboot was given a specific launch date, such being May 13th of this year for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. After a rather excruciatingly long wait that many fans have went through in order to get their hands on a new expansion, the mission was cordially fulfilled by both the developer and the publisher.

As per Movie Pilot, the new DOOM game may have an immensely supportive crowd behind it, but there are some factors that can prove to be valuable to make the title even more admirable. Having a good narrative, more on the recognizable gore and tributes to the original would serve the expansion quite well, as the series is what many consider a remarkable one to date.

DOOM's reboot gives players the opportunity to experience more of the hellish side that the entire Doom franchise was known for. Even more interesting is the ability to morph into a Revenant once the situation calls for it. Stay update for more news on the upcoming DOOM reboot.
