President Barack Obama arrived aboard Air Force One at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, CO, on Wednesday, urging Congress to act more like the state's Democratic-controlled legislature and quickly pass stronger gun-control laws, Reuters reported. During a round table meeting with law enforcement officials and community leaders at the Denver Police Academy, Obama praised lawmakers and Gov. John Hickenlooper for passing some of the nation's strongest gun-control measures after the shootings in Aurora and at a Connecticut elementary school.
