The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Blood and Wine Expansion Detailed; Possible Release Date Mid-2016

By

So far, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Blood and Wine expansion is set to release within the year, according to recent news. Along with the anticipated launch, rumors of the features included have been heard of online and the promise of having more improvements seemingly sets another elevated bar for one of the best games ever made.

As per Parent Herald, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's previous Hearts of Stone expansion was considerably almost as highly appraised as the original game. Now that CD Projekt Red rides on the strong end of the success train, the much-intrigued Blood and Wine continuity has spilled some key points all over the web, bit by tiny bit.

According to Movie Pilot, Blood and Wine is recently noted to take place in a new setting, at some point even possibly surpassing the size of the base game's own. Named Toussaint, the new map is separate from the realms of Skellige Isles, Velen and Novirgrad, and the journey does not stop there. CD Projekt Red's Marketing Lead Michal Platkow-Gilewski, there will be new quests, monsters, as well as the weapons to vanquish those monsters with and a heap of new places to trek and travel.

Delivered by Ecumenical News, there will be more to the title than just features but also the promise of longer gameplay hours. Given that the previous Hearts of Stone expansion lasted a good ten hours, the successor promises double the said playing time which runs around twenty in approximate. The story behind the title is still unclear as of the moment and CD Projekt Red does not have concrete plans on saying when to yet.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's Blood and Wine expansion is expected to arrive early this year but since no news has been disclosed yet, the middle of the year is a safe presumption for the gamers to mark. Keep posted for more updates on CD Projekt Red's chart-topping title.
