Executive producer Jan Nash has confirmed that Adam Sinclair will still be a part of "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 6 where his character Kent will begin to have a strange relationship with Maura. Meanwhile, Sasha Alexander bagged the PCA 2016 category for Favorite Cable TV Actress.

Executive producer Jan Nash has announced that Adam Sinclair's character Kent Drake will still be a part of "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 6. According to Christian Today, Nash teased that Kent and Maura Isles will be sharing a strange relationship.

Add to that, Nash discussed with TV Guide on what happens next when "Rizzoli & Isles" Season 6 returns with its 13th episode this February. Nash stated, "Obviously Maura (Sasha Alexander) will make it out alive. We'll come back and see how we save her. But the rest of the investigation and finally catching the culprit targeting Jane (Angie Harmon), and why exactly he/she is seeking revenge on her, will last a bit longer.

There's a mysterious element to it. It takes a while to figure out what's going on. When they do figure out what's going on, it'll take a while to catch the perpetrator. We want to give her a meaningful nemesis in addition to these standalone episodes. Kent will still be around the rest of the season and Angie Harmon's daughter Avery will make her acting debut in an episode."

Other than that, lead actress Sasha Alexander who plays the character of Maura Isles was hailed as the Favorite Cable TV Actress in the People's Choice Awards 2016, as mentioned on Latin Post. The outlet also cited that Angie Harmon (as Jane Rizzoli) also won last year.

"Rizzoli & Isles" Season 6 is slated to return on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on TNT. "Rizzoli & Isles" is a TNT TV series developed by Janet Tamaro. The storyline is based on Tesse Geritsen's novel series under the same name.
