Donald Trump on Presidential Elections: Trump Takes to Twitter After Obama Victory over Mitt Romney

Donald Trump has been a loud voice throughout the presidential campaign, often voicing his opinion on two candidates President Barrack Obama and former Governor Mitt Romney. Weeks before Election Day, Trump challenged Obama to release his passport documentation in exchange for $5 million. On Wednesday, after Obama was declared a victory, the Celebrity Apprentice Host took to Twitter.

"This was the Republicans election to win but they just blew it--reasons why to follow," as posted on his Twitter page Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump.

Later he followed up by tweeting, "Another four years--not good for the country but we'll have to live with it!" and then again with a tweet that read "Our country is totally split right now but someday it will come together!"

A few weeks ago when President Obama was asked what he thought about Trump's $5 million challenge for him, he responded, "Well, it's always good to ignore Donald Trump...I think it's always a good rule," as reported by ABC News.

On Tuesday, Obama was declared victor of the 2012 Presidential Elections in a race that was very close. According to the tallies, Former Governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney was only two percent behind in the popular at 48 percent, while Obama was at 50 percent. As for electoral votes, Obama garnered 303 electoral votes, while Romney garnered 206. The candidates needed a minimum of 270 to win.

When it comes to the congressional elections, the Republicans won the House and Democrats won the Senate. According to the finally tally, for the House the count is as follows: Republicans - 232 and Democrats 191, with a balance of power being 218; and for the Senate: Republicans 45 and Democrats 51, with a balance of power being 50.
