Nanny Stabbing NYC: Yoselyn Ortega Kills Kids and Then Stabs Herself In Front of Mother, Marina Krim (Watch Video Coverage)

A nanny in the New York City allegedly stabbed two children to death and then stabbed her herself in front of the children's mother. Marina Krim came home to find her two children stabbed to death in the bathtub and then witnessed Yoselyn Ortega - the nanny, stab herself and then slit her wrist before she was rushed to the hospital.

According to the New York Police Department Commissioner Ray Kelly, the nanny does not have any known criminal record and that the police have no motive for the killings.

As reported by ABC News, the 50-year-old nanny allegedly stabbed the two children. She currently in the hospital in critical condition and has not been questioned or charged by the police.

Ortega, who recently procured her U.S. passport, came to the country from the Dominican Republic. She has worked as the nanny to the Krim family for over two years at the family's La Rochelle apartment building located on the Upper East side of Manhattan.

Krim returned home after taking her third child to swimming lessons only to discover the bloody bodies of her other two children Lucia and Leo of ages six and two respectively in the bathtub.

The father of the children Kevin Krim is an executive producer at CBNC. The news network released a statement of condolence and support to the family, "The bodies of two children Lucia and Leo of ages six and two respectively were discovered in the bathtub," as reported by ABC News.
