NHL's Jarret Stoll arrested for drug possession

Los Angeles Kings player Jarret Stoll was arrested on Friday in Las Vegas for drug possession, according to inmate records and police.

Online records for the Clark County Detention Center showed that Stoll, 32, was arrested and held on $5,000 cash bail. A dispatcher with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed the suspect was the Kings center.

The Canadian-born Stoll has been with the Kings since 2008, winning two titles with the club, after previously playing for the Edmonton Oilers.

Broadcaster KLAS-TV reported that police confirmed Stoll was arrested at the MGM Grand Hotel's Wet Republic pool for possession of cocaine and club drug MDMA, also called "Molly".
