James Egan Holmes, the Colorado shooter who was arrested for opening fire in an Aurora theatre during the showing of the “Dark Knight Rises” killing 12 and injuring 59, announced himself to be “the joker, the enemy of Batman,” according to NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly. Holmes painted his hair red to resemble the Joker.
