On Thursday, presumed republican nominee for 2012 presidential elections Mitt Romney visits London on his two week Europe tour, his visit was not all that welcome because of his comments on London's Olympic preparation in an NBC interview.

Wednesday evening, in an address to the National Urban League, President Barrack Obama addressed the issue of gun-control, a sensitive political issue rekindled by last Friday’s Colorado movie massacre. President Obama stressed on his belief in the constitutional right to bear arms, but said that there also is need for stricter background checks in order to prevent mentally deranged and criminals from procuring weapons.

In an interview with CNBC's The Kudlow Report, the republican nominee for president in the 2012 elections said that the future president cannot be blamed for the fiscal problems he inherits from the previous tax-cuts from the Bush administration. He tells the interviewer, “We ought to give, whichever president is going to be elected, at least six months or a year to get those policies in place,” on the CNN show.
