The four day celebration for the Indian festival Diwali ends on Friday. While Indian Hindus, Buddhists and Jains across the globe celebrate this last day of their most auspicious holiday with plenty of gusto. The Indian-American community in New York will end the festivities with fireworks and an Annual Mega Diwali Bash at K Lounge on Saturday.
Alleged Colorado movie theater shooter, James Egan Holmes, has been discharged from the hospital on Thursday after being hospitalized for undisclosed medical reasons. The 24-year old is now back in jail. Authorities refuse to comment on the reason for his hospitalization. Judge William Sylvester postponed a court hearing in the case for December 10.
