JPMorgan Chase & Co commodities head Blythe Masters has stepped down from the advisory panel of the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Masters' unit was involved in a power markets manipulation lawsuit filed by US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Attorney for former US State Department contractor Stephen Kim, Abbe Lowell, said that his client unfortunately made a grave mistake without intention, which was to talk to a reporter just like so many government officials in Washington do. Kim pleaded guilty of divulging classified information and for providing a false statement to the US FBI.
