'Agents of SHIELD' Season 3: Newest Inhuman 'Slingshot' to debut; Secret Warriors team, Grant Ward's return revealed in teaser

"McFarland, USA" actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley joins Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 to play as the newest Inhuman, Slingshot. Also, ABC has released the official plot description and promo clip for episode 11 'Bouncing Back'.

"McFarland, USA" alum Natalia Cordova-Buckley officially joins the cast of Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 and according to MNR Daily, the 33-year-old Mexican actress is set to play as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez and her alter-ego Slingshot. Rodriguez is an ordinary human being who will be bestowed with superpowers when she joins the agency.

Rodriguez will later become as Slingshot who happens to be an Inhuman with the ability to run quickly and has the unique power to instantly jump back to the exact place where she started to run. Cordova-Buckley's character is set to debut in the 11th episode of the superhero series.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 11, Spoilers Guide notes, "In the aftermath of his trip to Maveth, Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) is more determined than ever to get to Gideon Malick and put an end to Hydra once and for all. Daisy and the team encounter more Inhumans who have powers like they've never seen before, but will they be friends or enemies of S.H..I.E.L.D?"

In addition, the official promo clip for Marvel's flagship television project features multiple Inhumans, introduces the Secret Warriors team, and the return of Grant Ward, Australia Network News has cited.

Marvel's "Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 Episode 11 is entitled as "Bouncing Back". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on ABC.

Agents of SHIELD" is an American TV series created by Maurissa Tancharoen, Joss and Jed Whedon. The storyline is based on the Marvel comics fictional spy agency and peacekeeping organizations S.H.I.E.L.D (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division).
