Presidential candidate Donald Trump threatened his rival, Ted Cruz, on Monday with legal action if he does not taka down his "false ads" and "retract his lies". The Texas Senator accused Trump of being against the Second Amendment, being in favor of Obamacare and being pro-choice which the latter has denied.

According to The Hill, Donald Trump denied all of these accusations by Ted Cruz. The GOP presidential candidate said his rival is a totally "unstable" individual and the "biggest liar he has ever came across". The former reality TV host also called Ted Cruz 'desperate' during his press conference in Charleston, South Carolina.

Trump thought one way to fight back on the allegations thrown at him and it is to push through with a lawsuit against Ted Cruz. He pointed out that his rival "was born in Canada and therefore cannot be President." 

Previously, Trump shared his plan to sue Cruz if he didn't "clean up his act, stop cheating, and doing false and negative ads", Yahoo! Finance shared in a report. In fact, he even boasted he already have a lawyer in case his rival refuses to do so.

In a statement, Trump expressed his confidence of being the strongest in several things. "I am the strongest on the borders and I will build a wall, and it will be a real wall. I am strongest on illegal immigration, strongest on ISIS, strongest on the military and I will take care of our Vets," he said in a statement, as per Business Insider. "I will end common core and preserve the second amendment. I will renegotiate our trade deals and bring our jobs back to our country. I am the only person who will Make America Great Again."

Cruz's team did not immediately respond to a request for comment. However, Trump's rival did fire back on Twitter saying he is pointing out Trump's "actual positions."
