Due to the rampant release of smartphones almost every month by different manufacturers, some should think of a way for their products to pop out. That is why Microsoft's got something on its sleeve as it introduces the very first Surface Phone.

Although there no clear rumors regarding the announcement and the release of the Surface phone. Experts see that this device has taken its design around tablets that offer the same features. With this move, Microsoft is hoping that they will turn the tables on their favor.

In the upcoming MWC in Barcelona, experts are expecting Microsoft to announce their flagship smartphones, the Lumia series. If people won't see any signs of the Surface Phone during the event, then people might be seeing it on a bigger event by Microsoft  this coming April.

According to rumors around the web, the Surface Phone will be made of an all-aluminum and magnesium outer shell with a unibody design. It will sport a 5.5 inch 1440×2560 screen display utilizing the AMOLED technology. The device will be powered by an Intel Atom x3 processor and will have a 4GB Random Access Memory. To easily integrate it with other devices, Microsoft is going to use its latest Windows 10 OS and experts are seeing it as a good selling point for the Surface Phone.

For the memory, the device is going to have a 64GB internal capacity which will be upgradeable to 128GB via external microUSB. For the photography department, Microsoft's Surface Phone will rock a 21MP Pureview 6-lens primary shooter utilizing Carl Zeiss wide-angle camera on the front. One of the main accessories found solely on the Surface Phone is its SurfacePen, which experts view it as similar to Samsung's S-Pen.

Microsoft hasn't announced the price tag for the device but speculations say that if the Surface Tablet cost $1,799 then this one might be a little cheaper. Regarding the exact release date, the company are tight lipped about it but rumors say that it will be anywhere by the second half of 2016.
