It is confirmed that Sony will soon export the Xperia Z5 Compact devices to the United States. The big revelation comes sweet on top as the devices are reportedly coming with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Sony Xperia Z5 Compact will finally be making its first step in the US soon as the company confirmed the news days ago. In spite of Sony being silent about software updates these days, the phone is reportedly bringing with it the Marshmallow software.

Android 6.0 has reportedly started rolling out to Sony devices in February as mobile carriers and other device manufacturers have already started the update except for the Japanese giant. Along with Xperiz Z5 Compact, the Xperia Z5 phone will also be exported.

As seen on other devices, Marshmallow will come in with premium features, additions and improvements that will undeniably hype up Android experience. It comes in stages over-the-air (OTA) so other users from other parts of the globe have to wait when it officially releases.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow will also be available to Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3 Compact, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia M4 Aqua, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia C4 and Xperia Z Ultra GPE. Devices already updated include LG G4, G Stylo, HTC One M8, One M9, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 and Google Nexuses.

Last year, Sony released its own concept of the Marshmallow update that sported impressive tweaks and out-of-the-box features. It was first tested on Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact devices.

It also brought a faster system performance and a killer battery life improvement. It offers Google's native features like Doze Mode, a battery saving feature, and the new app permissions. It also brings a new home launcher that allows users to switch the app names within the dock on and off. Included here as well are media apps Album, Music and the stock Camera app.
